Come and visit the Eco Dog; the planet's best friend

The Eco Dog is intrigued by what the humans are doing to the planet. Apart from sending p-mail and enjoying the views of the garden, the Eco Dog is also a bit of a philosopher and is here to offer you a unique brand of eco friendly tips to help the environment. This month's tip is about:

Watching sports on TV

In our household the Eco Dog has noticed the humans are promising to get walking more but so far they are just watching more sport on TV. But before you sit down why not make a thermos of hot water for your half time cup of tea? This way you can help ease the strain on our power stations by preparing beforehand. All those kettles boiling at once across the nation cause the kind of peaks in demand that require extra power station capacity.

The Eco Dog may look like a couch potato but does a bit to make sure the humans are kept fit by making them take walks. Like a coiled spring leaping from the couch to find their favourite pair of bamboo socks to keep them cool and a better choice for the planet too. Just a 15 minute walk a day has plenty health benefits.

Whilst watching the TV the humans can work on being healthy too with a selection of tasty treats from our green shop- like sun dried mango and organic 9 bars washed down with dandelion and burdock or that refreshing cup of fairtrade tea.

I’m always thinking of new tips and ideas that can help you play your part in the preservation of life on the planet. What’s good for life on Earth is good for humans and dogs too. To see how you can really help, why not come and see for yourself and visit the Living Green Centre.
